  • The GIMP is an image editing applilcation a la Photoshop for Windows or Mac.
  • Create PDF documents for free using CutePDF Writer...or use Pdf995.
  • Don't have KidPix? Use TuxPaint.
  • Use TuxMath for math review.
  • Anyone can use OpenOffice to create MS Office compatible documents.
  • Stop sending huge pictures to Grandma. Use Photo Gadget to resize them first.
  • Jarte is another free word processor...something to thinkn about for younger students or for students to load at home.

  • Wizlite lets you highlight text on a web page for yourself or students.
